Dr. Aguirre is a board-certified prosthodontist. He also is a former clinical assistant professor at Baylor College of Dentistry Department of Restorative Sciences.

Brian Chai, DDS, PhD

Oral Surgeon

Dr. Bryan Chai first discovered his love for oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Maryland, Baltimore during dental school. He was introduced to the specialty during the oral surgery rotation and enjoyed the full scope of treatment that it would allow him to provide to his patients. He finds it extremely rewarding to work with patients in restoring their oral health and seeing how a new smile and renewed function can change someone’s life.

Dr. Chai began his career at Denver Health, practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and taking part in the resident education program. As a staff surgeon, he was able to treat a wide variety of conditions with an emphasis in facial trauma and reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, benign oral pathology, and dentoalveolar surgery. He looks forward to leveraging this experience and expertise to help the patients at Cherry Creek Restorative Dentistry achieve exceptional surgical outcomes.

Education & Residency
Dr. Chai earned his doctorate in dental surgery in 2013 from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. While completing dental school, he also earned a PhD in neuroscience. He went on to complete his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Dental Health Medical Center, where he gained hands-on experience working alongside trained surgeons and anesthesiologists.

Dr. Chai is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS). He also is an active member of the Colorado Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association® and the Colorado State Dental Association. Dr. Chai is trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).

Dr. J. Brandon Luter

Oral Surgeon

“The opportunity to make an impact in patients’ lives and a difference in my community through oral surgery is an absolute privilege.”

Dr. J. Brandon Luter is a fifth generation Colorado native from Bayfield. Upon completing dental school, he was unsure of which specialty field he wanted to pursue. During a general practice residency, he became drawn to the surgical aspects of dentistry because of the complex treatments and ability to treat a variety of patients in a hospital setting. He finds that being able to help and support patients during the most challenging times following a traumatic injury is extremely fulfilling.

When looking for a practice to join, Dr. Luter searched for an opportunity for mentorship where he could continuously learn from his peers. He is excited to be a part of the team at Cherry Creek Restorative Dentistry because of the welcoming and friendly environment that is created for patients. As an added benefit, Dr. Bryan Chai was an attending doctor at Denver Health Medical Center where Dr. Luter completed his residency, furthering their expertise as specialists with experience from the same facility.

When a patient is nervous, Dr. Luter takes the time to answer questions and determine the source of the anxiety. He tailors every aspect of treatment to the individual needs of every patient, addressing both the clinical outcomes and the level of comfort. Dr. Luter finds it rewarding to alleviate pain and improve the lives of others in his community.

Education & Residency
Dr. J. Brandon Luter earned a degree in biochemistry and biology from McPherson College in 2009. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2014 and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Denver Health Medical Center.

Dr. Luter is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the American Dental Association® (ADA).
